What We Do

Fertility Solutions for Lesbian Couples

Planning a Family with the optimal treatment

Everyone should experience the gift of parenthood

Thanks to advancing technology in the field of infertility, there are more options and a greater likelihood that same-sex female couples will be able to have a child that is biologically related.

pregnancy for lesbians couples

We understand that same-sex couples face different fertility options and issues than heterosexual couples who can attempt conception without any medical help.

We are here to help you achieve your goal in the most ideal method possible. In order to maximize the success of conceiving it is important to select the optimal treatment for each patient.

Our treatment options for lesbian couples at the Center for Reproductive Health include:

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

  • Or Artificial Insemination.
Using a syringe and a thin catheter, donor sperm is injected into the uterus of one partner during ovulation.

Gestational Surrogacy

  • IVF will be performed with a surrogate using either one partner’s eggs or donor eggs fertilized by donor sperm.

In Vitro Fertilization

  • Depending on the couples preference and fertility, different forms of IVF can be performed:

    • IVF, using the eggs of one partner fertilized by donor sperm, the embryo is implanted into the other partner.

    • IVF, using donor eggs fertilized by donor sperm, the embryo is implanted into one partner.

    • IVF, using eggs from both partners fertilized by donor sperm, the embryo is implanted into one partner.

    • IVF, using eggs from both partners fertilized by donor sperm, the embryos are implanted into both partners.

Your First Step

Becoming a parent to a biological child first step is to make an appointment with The Center for Reproductive Health and visit our office for a consultation.

All couples will have a preliminary meeting with Dr. Vasquez, to discuss their health and previous fertility history, possible treatment, the likelihood of conception, and financial options.

We are excited to help you achieve your desire to have a biological baby!
